Woke up this morning to my adult male Chameleon, his tail still curled in sleeping position with feces hanging out and what looked to be some kind of fleshy stuff hanging out :( I googled and saw pictures of rectal prolapse and it looked just like what he was doing. I didn't get a picture...
So, I have yet to see my baby (10 hours old) drink any water? Maybe he's doing it when I wasn't looking but I am misting the plant (ponthos) and he just stands there....is there anything else I should be doing to get him to drink? (First baby...and I am so paranoid)
First time breeding Chameleons here. Clutch was laid 6-16-2013. I noticed yesterday morning that two were "sweating" and then last night when I checked on them, one was split. I can't really see anything inside (and don't want to touch it for fear of disturbing the baby) but it's split on one...
