my veiled cham wont eat roaches

I wouldn't worry, chams have preferences when it comes to food, she may simply not like them. Both my boys will sometimes eat them but that's about 1 or 2 max, don't go crazy for them, they prefer locusts, morio worms, silkworms, calciworms and crickets.

    Are crickets a necessity?

Just a tip, when dusting smooth bodied insects, I give them a tiny and I mean tiny drip of water onto them and the powder sticks :) even a droplet would work. Think crickets are seen as a necessity because of how common they are, obviously you don't have to have them as a main staple but a...

    panther not eating

Well for a 3 month old you don't want jumbo, a 3 month old should handle medium ones fine and can fed as a staple but try and still offer variety though such as crickets, locusts, calciworms, roaches.

    panther not eating

Try and cut back on the worms, not healthy if you're offering everyday, try silk worms or horn worms. Its possible he's addicted to the meal and wax worms and refusing his staple food. If you can get him into a screen cage, my experience the exoterra aren't very big even if he's in the largest...
