I've just upgraded his light fitting to a T5 and he's not too happy about it, he want's out and is climbing on his door trying to get out but the panther is out so he has to stay put for a while, I'm in the process of making another free range so thay they both have one and can coth come out at...
I rarely video him it was done to capture how he normally behaves, he does that when I go into his cage to put food in or to mist his cage whether the camera is there or not, I only have two pieces of footage of him so his privacy is respected for the most parts, I only go into his cage when I...
He's coming up on 8 months old now, he's like this inside and outside his cage, with or without a camera, he's just a grumpy old man lol, I leave his door open and he now comes out when he wants to but I still have to use the stick method to get him back in as he won’t let me near him, I only...
Are they ok in sight of each other, my two puff up and and on goes the war paint as soon as they catch sight of one another, I have to stagger their free range times so their paths don't cross.
I'm aware that Yemen's can be quite grumpy but mine has made it his lifes mission to servere my hand from my arm as soon as possible..... OK so maybe that's a slight exageration but only a slight one, is there anything I can do to help calm him down a little? I leave his repti door open when I'm...
My boys are like chalk and cheese, the panther, Ollie, is the most chilled out little cham and a real pleasure to be around, my Yemen, Dillon, is a bad tempered, hissy, snappy, spawn of the satan who's goal in life if to one day tear my hand off, but I have to say I adore them both the same.
Thank you, I got the trellis from the garden centre and attahced it with string through the joins of the side and top pannels, I've used it in both cham set ups and it's great for hanging plants, bridges and vines on for walkways.
As Ollie is 6 months old now and getting a little restless in his old home I decided it was time he upgraded to his forever home, he's been in it for a few days now and still not sure what to make of all the space (the top of my curtains are still his prefered place) Tonight is his 3rd night in...
I've given up trying to get Dillon out now, he's 7 months old and I leave his cage door open so he can come and go as he pleases, but then I have to put him back in........ and that's not much fun for me lol
Could you attach some kind of trellis to the sides using hooks that clip together? then you can attach vines, small pieces of wood to that with cable ties, would make it a lot easier to revove and replace during cleaning.
I have a panther who hand feeds/drinks, as soon as I'm home he's on the door of his reptibreeze (his way of saying I want out now) as soon as I open the door he's out, up my arm and perched on top of my head. I also have a hissy, grouchy, bad tempered fire spitting monster of a Yemen who refuses...
I've often wondered if my bright red hair is the reason my Yemen freaks every time I look at him! It doesn't seem to bother the panther the same though.
Thanks Jann, he doesn't like me going into his repti, he hisses and lunges at me with his mouth open and as soon as he see's the spray bottle, well, he really lets you know how inconvienent that is for him :), I put some fresh leaves in for him this evening, he hissed and lunged then decided...
Hello I'm Diane, for years I have wanted a chameleon and I now I finally have 2, along with 5 snakes.
After spending months and months reading until my eyes bled on the 2nd November I finally brought home my first chameleon, Ollie, he's a five month old blue bar panther and the sweetest...
