Thank you for the response and the information, ridgebax1. I suppose that there are other dual duty plants that can be placed in their habitats, such as the hibiscus plant. From what I've read, chameleons enjoy eating the blooms. Hibiscus plants are safe, correct?

Thank you for the reply, I have now separated them. My current idea for feeding is to put the crickets in a container with a hole so that they can creep out. I will position the container at the upper section of the large cage since the baby likes to be up there.

My boys received their 2 month old male veiled chameleons for Christmas; they named them Godzilla and Camo.
We also had a veiled that we got when he was 2 months old in 2006 that my oldest named Luda. RIP
