It strikes me as odd because both chams do it and they are separate in different cages but I see them nip at some of the fake plant leaves. Is this common?

Yes I have the D3 as well as reptashy supervite. I do not think I need a dripper as the mistking gets all the leaves and some of the sides of the cage with alot of water drops which the Cham's are licking off, I also manually spray their face with warm water to assist in cleaning out there eyes.
