For the Holidays, I would like my screen cage and other accessories to finally arrive so I can get my cham habitat set up and running. Then, I can order my Panther and pray that he will be sent before it gets too cold here.
From my experience back in the day with keeping snakes in glass enclosures with screened lids, if you don't have the cham in a separate room with a securable door, I would
get rid of the cat.
If heat at night is needed you could buy a ceramic heat emitter (CHE) which screws in the same dome fixtures like normal light bulbs. CHEs emit infrared heat but no light.
Have you ever tried to set up a romantic night and lit a few candles? They heat up a room quickly. In a pinch, I've used candles to heat my snake room when the power went out. Just cover the cages to block out the light if necessary. May be a low tech alternative.
Owl is that all you have for us? Empty promises? How can we check out your custom water recycler without pictures or at least a better description of how it is designed or set up? Actually, I am glad you posted this because I have been wondering if it is possible to recycle mist water.
