yes i am giving them a cricket feed. what else would be good to feed them? Also he is eating the leaves on his plant, what other greens can i feed him?

Ok so i come home from work and see Hector sitting at the bottom of his plant and notice he is eating at the bottom of it... not sure if its the roots or the mud...is this normal??

Just wondering what is the best thing to put on the bottom of the enclosure... currently have bark but the crickets seem to be just hiding underneath when i put them in...i have a cup that he feeds out of but i would like to let some roam so he can go hunting :D

Kinda freaked me out when i seen mine doing this for the first time but after reading from here its pretty normal...very funny to watch!

sorry when i said outside the enclosure i meant just for an hour or so because i have read it is good to let them wonder for abit, but its sorted now so no worries! Also he is wolfing down about 8-9 small crickets a day at the mo the greedy pig so im all good there...Heres the pic...

Hi, I am picking up a baby veild tomorrow, im not to sure how old, but i am just wondering how much i should be feeding to start off with? Iv'e read alot about keeping the little fella but everywhere i have read is giving me different opions on how much i should feed him, thought why not ask...
