I'm a fairly new Cham owner and recently learned mine might be ready to lay eggs soon. She was spending most of her time on the bottom of the cage and scratching at the glass. I finally moved her into a big cage with a laying bin and covered her cage for privacy. It's been about 4 days now and...

Ok so should I not even put crickets out there or switch the lights on/off?

My poor baby, I can't believe I didn't know. I'm patiently waiting and watching her as she slowly makes her way down to the bin. I hope this works. How often does this happen and when will I know she needs to lay again?

You have a gorgeous set up. Mine feels a little empty still. What kind of plants are good to use? I know some could be harmful. Also, can I still give her crickets and turn her light on and off while she's laying? Can she be in the dark at night?

Here is her new cage with her laying bin. You can barely see her in the pic going down the vine. She is a little smaller than yours. I would say she is about 4 inches long not including her tail. Is there anyway to know how old she may be? I got her in October of last year so she must be almost...

Her outdoor cage is 18x18x36, her inside cage is much smaller. Don't know the exact measurements, maybe 12x12x18. I just put a laying bin in her cage. She seems to slowly be making her way down. I will be buying regular calcium without d3 today and don't know if I should still buy a UV light...

Oh no! This pic was taken weeks ago!! I've never found any eggs :(

The problem is that her inside cage is glass and too small. And the problem with her outdoor cage is that I live in Miami and it can easily go to the mid 90s :/ Plus, I work every day 9-5 so i can't keep an eye on her just to be sure. I'm in a tough position :(

New setup I'm sorry in advance, I know it's still pretty naked but I'm working on it and will add more leaves for her. Maybe I could fit a laying bin in here for her?
