Thank you Lynda. This is the first time I’ve had a girl lay eggs since I moved to Mexico. I’m so lucky to have found a good exotic vet, but he is 2+ hours away with traffic .
Thank you for your kind words. Our vet knew I was worried so he just sent me the updates and photos.
I’ll shared the eyes plug info.
If you are not an experienced keep, I don’t recommend this. If the plug doesn’t move around, thus want work.
Thank you Vikki! Please say a prayer for her. I see that plug in her eye. When she gets back home and recovers a bit, I know how to push them out, if the vet hasn’t already done it.
Mia had been digging for more than a week and I was worried she was not going to be able to lay her eggs so I took her to the vet on Friday. Dra Roberto kept her and gave her oxytocin and calcium for 3 days with no signs of laying so he did surgery today. Here’s Mia right before surgery...
Your not to far from me. I’m about 40 minutes south east of Guadalajara. I have a hard time finding feeders. Let me know if you find any interesting feeder.
Also check with Amanda and Lee at Ready’s Rain Forest. They might have some Nosey Be. They are excellent people, too!
