    First enclosure prep

Finally started putting it all together. Still need some form of background but that's pretty much it. I'm just going to let the enclosure get nice and settled for a couple weeks while I tweak the misting schedule around until the humidity is where I want it. There are 5 different philodendron...

    Sagebrush

SO, uh, I now realize that's not sagebrush. And if it were, I couldn't use it because sagebrush has toxic oils... Now I have to figure out what this plant actually is so I can ask opinions for using the real plant.

    Sagebrush

Has anyone ever used sage brush in their cham set ups? It grows like crazy here in Eastern Oregon and the other day it occurred to me that it's branches are perfect sized for pygmy's and possibly some of the other smaller varieties, and hatchlings.

    Questions about Pygmy's

Thanks again! I have another question now though. This one is less about basics and more about specifics. I know that when it comes to lighting at night it's recommended to have none due to the chameleon's light detecting parietal eye. I know that having light(s) on at night tends to disrupt...

    Questions about Pygmy's

Thanks for the response :) I'll give that care sheet a good reading. I'm excited to join the cham community! The long response time from me was because of my weekend work schedule, which actually raises another question; anyone have recommendations for good automatic misting systems? Or just a...

    Questions about Pygmy's

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and to chameleons in general, but found this site to have a large amount of useful information. I am currently looking into getting a few pygmy chams and have been doing a lot of research into them and their needs. I've got the materials (minus the plants)...
