Well this morning I got my very BOY veiled chameleon from FLChams...They are great!!! I will always order from them. I was very happy, and mike was very helpful.
I will post pics in a little bit...He is the cutest little vieled chameleon. And there is so question wether this one is a boy or...
So even though it is small it can still be an egg? If I crack it will there be a yoke like a regular egg? Or not? And why do you think she isnt using the dirt I have in there?
The water from his little dripper has to go somewhere....It drips into a container that looks like a rock, and then I take it out everyday and dump it. Cus I like to have water dripping for quite awhile and I have to empty it all the time or else it would overflow.
Yes I have a 5 gallon pot filled with dirt in "her" cage...Why wont she use it?
And next to this "egg", haha, There was some poo in the water...Normal? And the reason I never knew for sure if it was a she or he was cuz of the little bump on the back foot, And it seems to have a little...
I found this in my Veiled Chameleons water this morning....Is it an egg or what??? This is in regards to my chameleon that I am not sure if it is a boy or a girl, so hopefully by this "egg" I will finally know! and here is My He/she Veiled!
I try to post a picture but it says the upload failed....Why? I have posted pics before with out this problem....
Anyway, I put a big pot of dirt in his/her enclosure just in case ;) I guess If I see him/her starting to dig a tunnel my mystery will be solved. haha
But I have heard of some...
I know about the spurs, He /she just has a little tiny thing that could or might not be a spur. So I just dont know :(
I have posted other threads asking if he was male or female, and one thread everyone thought female, then I posted another with new pics and then majority thought male...
Has anyone noticed when they hold there Veiled chameleon that that make like a low grunt, pretty much inaudible, you can feel it though, Its almost like there vibrating, like a grunt...Its hard to explain. And only when they are mad. I noticed this with my previous Male veiled chameleon...And...
Hahaha thats funny "natural male TARSAL spur enhancment" ;)
I bet yours a male too...I have never had a female, But from what people have told me, females just dont have anything, so if you even suspect a bump being there its probably male :)
Cool, I cant wait to see it! I say if there is a bump AT ALL its a boy, But I am no breeder, But just like MIKA said, A bump is a bump is a bump!
Do you think from the pics I posted that mine is a boy? or a girl?
Beautiful! I cant wait to see his/her back feet pics! How old is Cuervo? His hat seem to be a little small, But I know some male just have small hats :)
What do you think of my chamleon, his name is Cozi...Do you think boy??
Haha, You sound just like me! I see it and then I am like, OK yeah its a male, Then sometimes I cant hardly see it at all, and I start questioning myself that I ever even saw it in the first place, lol, So I just keep looking at his picture of his spurs and say, Ok its still a boy, haha its not...
Well I dont mind if he has little ones, I was just making sure thats what it was...
I have another question tho, When do they start to get there Yellow bands? I guess that would be considered there mature colors...So when does this happen? Mine is 5 months...
Yeah thats what I thought, And if it was excess skin it wouldnt be hard, it would be like, I dunno loose, haha
But maybe it was just hard for them to tell in the pics, like they didnt know if it was hard or soft, so I understand its just hard to tell sometimes...Thats was awhile ago too, so...
Yeah both feet...He is 4 months, probably almost 5 now.
So the female had nothing huh? Ok I have owned a veiled before, He died not too long ago, he was about 5 or 6 years, But I got him when he was full grown, so there was no doubt he was a boy. But this is the first baby I have ever had, So...
