I would have to assume that those eggs are infertile....it happens. Especially, in a second clutch where the female has not mated since the first clutch...
She will retain some but more eggs will be infertile due to it being the second clutch...
I would recommend leaving them for now if they...
First, what species?
From what I can tell, I think most of your eggs look pretty good...With the not so good looking ones, if they aren't moldy or badly discolored I would say you can leave them...they may hatch and they may not...at least you gave them the chance. :)
Just keep a closer...
Eggs!
Yea! :)
Now you need to set up your incubation system.
Check out the forums, there is a lot of threads for this...temperature, humidity, water-medium ratio...
I used a reptibator but I really don't think it was necessary...
Let me know if you want more info about how I did...
Soooo cute!! :D I am so happy for you!
That light one has awesome patterns! My baby veiled chams are so green compared to those little guys! :p
Congrats!
I am so excited for my Jackson pair to get a little bigger! Not quite ready yet!
Pride & Prejudice
Male - Fitzwilliam "Fitz"
Female - Elizabeth "Lizzy"
I love Jane Austin and decided to name our first breeding pair after the main characters in Pride & Prejudice, my favorite book! :p
I use a play sand I get from Home Depot. Its like a wet, sand box sand.
I place a heat lamp over it for a while before I put her in to warm up the sand.
Wait, you did this just a few days ago? I am curious why?
I can imagine that all this did was stress her beyond belief...:(
You have received great advice! Hope she lays soon.
My most recent clutch from my female did take a little over 30 days. Is this her first clutch?
Be sure to stay away when she is digging.
Dig holes for her to use if she wants, this way if they are filled in you have an idea of where the eggs are.
Try not to feed her while she is in the...
I think your big and/or transparent eggs are just developing a little quicker than the others. No need to worry. If they are not moldy, dark, or denting you are probably on the right track.
Some will develop and hatch faster than others.
Be careful when misting; I would not recommend over...
Perfectly normal!
Some of mine have come out like that also...Purple and they "sleep" for another day or two. So odd!
Then some come out bright and ready to go!
So glad to see your healthy new babies!
I think he may be referring to a vitamin shot that can be given to help "push" the eggs out if she seems to be having an issue laying.
I am not very familiar as I do have veiled chams and have not have any problems.
Hope she is laying by now!
Your eggs look good but the picture is a little fuzzy. They look pinkish and if you can see red veins you should be good.
Depending on the species of chameleon, you are probably looking at about 7 months.
