    Hornworm vs Crickets

    I know for most crickets are a staple, but hornworms are way easier to gutload and grow pretty big and are a good source of water. I gutload my hornworms with kale collard greens carrots thin pieces of green pepper and yam. If gut loaded properly can hornworms be used as staple??

    my 6 mo old veiled does want to eat anything except for veges and butterworms and he prefers the veges loll. ive offered: flies, hornworms, silk, supers, crickets, no dubia i heard there were illegal in ontario canada. is a butterworm and veges "salad" ok as a staple diet

    Veiled Veggies

    my veiled will eat kale, collard green and mustard greens, (not really dandelion) he chooses to eat his vegies before his insects so i offer only a little, i also dust them

    Coccidia

    my 5mo veiled currently has coccidia but his condition is improving considerably. 2 months ago, all he would eat was a few small pieces of kale or collard greens. to promote an appetite wax worms!!! their high in fat so they act as a prevention to weight loss, a couple wax worms is better...

    Realy need help with veiled chameleon

    the same thing happened to my 4 month old veiled, he didnt eat insects for 3 weeks, but he was eating greens (mustard green, collard greens and kale). then in the same dish with the greens i started putting wax worms (only for a couple days to help gain some weight back) then i phased out...

    Not eating

    try to offer veges, this may sound like a long shot as most veilds don't eat them. my 4.5 month old veild stopped eating i tried giving him everything, as a last resort i gave him collard greens an kale and now he almost easts a full leaf a week (along with his insects). something in the stomach...

    eating slowed

    thank god i found this thread loll. my veiled is doing the same thing right now, hes only 5months... i noticed it happened right after he shed... but he will eat a lot of raw greens... just snatched some raw kale and dandelion green as i was typing this
