So just curious... How does everyone go about feeding their chams fruits and veggies? Do you use another feeder bowl or somehow wedge things in the foliage? I've tried putting banana on one of the sticks but it pretty much sat there and got nasty. Do I just add it to his feeder bowl with his...
Yay! Got my silky shipment yesterday! Could not be more pleased! Cirque ate two yesterday and he had I think 4 today! He is eating good!!! Today he had his BB flies, dubia and silkies!
Hi, so I was thinking about letting a few of my waxworms turn into moths. Can anyone tell me how large the moths are? My panther is just turning 5 months. Thanks!!!
I've purchased blue bottle flies for my panther and he goes nuts over them. It's time for me to order more but this time I noticed they offered a house fly/ blue bottle fly combo. Should I try this? Is their a difference as far as nutrition or fly temperament? I've noticed the blue bottles are...

It's been pretty cold here the last couple days. We don't run the heat in the house. One of my chams seems to be fine with it. Sitting under his basking light most of the time. My other Cham however was waiting for his food in the morning. He ate then went to his sleeping area, which is about...
So I purchased way too many Phoenix worms for my little guys and they are all starting to turn black. On the Phoenix worm store website it says that they will turn into solider flys. Has anyone had experience with their Phoenix worms turning into flys? Any advice on how to keep them? I would...
Both my boys just shed so I figured I would post new photos. Atlas is my blue bar and he is now 5 months.
And Cirque is my red bar. He is now 3 months.
I just invested in a dubia colony. My chams (young ones) did not touch them. I think cause they are used to crickets that move a bit more. I know it will probably take some time but has anyone else had problems with their chams not liking dubias?
Introducing my two Panther Ambilobes. The first photo is of Atlas, our 4 1/2 month old blue bar and the second photo is of Cirque our almost 3 month old red bar. I will take better photos in a couple more weeks, perhaps after their next shed :)
I've had these silkworm eggs in the sunshine for almost 3 weeks now! What gives!? I'm in southern Ca, where it's been like 80-90 degrees! Errr... Never again! I will buy live ones next time. I can see the little black worm curled up and everything... So frustrating...
I have a Reptibreeze cage and in the corners are small areas where the crickets are able to hide. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions? Thanks ; )
Does anyone know the best way to patch up a screen hole from a misting nozzle? I moved some plants and moved the lighting so now I need to move the misting hole but I obviously don't want to leave a hole in the cage.
