i was just wondering if someone with some experience could tell me how to start up a silk worm colony. im sick of crickets even though they are cheap. anyway all advice is welcome
my veiled is eating his schefflera, today i saw that several of the leaves were missing and bite marks in several others. if i am not mistaken schefflera are toxic to some extent so, should i remove this plant?
So im going home for thanksgiving tomorrow it is a 5.5 hour car ride and most of you seemed to think that a brown paper bag with a paper towel on the bottom is the best way to go. Is that correct? If i close the bag to make it nice and dark with my veiled be able to breath?

Flax seeds are full of nutrients so what i did was sprout some seeds and then grind they up and fed them to my crickets to see what would happen. it seems like the crickets really like the flax seeds they have been going crazy for them. just thought i would share in case anyone is interested in...

I was just wondering if the owner has any control over the chameleons coloring characteristics. If you gut load your feeders with certain foods does that make a difference or is it all genetics? Just hit or miss on having a well marked chameleon?

i have my veiled living in a ficus right now, no cage. he cant get down because i have one of those big dog collars on the bottom and there is no grip so he cant climb up and over the collar. what are your thoughts on this or would a screened cage be better in the long run?
