I used a compact mirror and could see her a little bit. Saw a little movement too so I'm gonna leave her alone now and just hope for the best. Thanks guys.
I know that there is a chance that I am just being crazy paranoid. I'm 39 weeks pregnant and the thought of her dying while laying her eggs when I'm so close to having a baby.... well it makes me think of everything that could go wrong when I give birth..
Any way to tell if the tunnel collapsed or if she's just sleeping in there?. I have been worried that maybe it did collapse. Her tunnel is defined on top and I could hear her scratching around but I'm always paranoid. If the tunnel didn't collapse and I dig her out I'm afraid she could get egg...
One of my chameleons, an eight month old veiled, is laying her first clutch of (infertal) eggs today. She seems to be having problems, maybe, or perhaps I'm just being paranoid. She has been digging all day, I can hear her scratching on the plastic of her lay bin. But she never came out of her...
Is this something that will eventually cause its death or other health problems? Hes at least a week old, but compairing him to the size of his siblings he's probably more like 2 weeks old. Seems like he eats and drinks. He's one of the bigger babies I have.
His eyes just look....odd....he's not blind but there is definatly something off. Anyone else seen anything like this before?

I'm not really sure about them theirselves. The were bought of craigslist at about 2 years old. The woman who had them kept them in the same cage. My female was already gravid. I suspect that them were related. We never bred them ourselves. There weren't any birth defects in the first clutch...
This page was super helpful. Wasnt exactly sure what I had when I opened my egg container this morning but this confermed my worst fears. Poor little baby born without eyes. I've only ever had 2 clutches hatch. This came as quite a shocker...
So I'm not really sure but a baby hatched today and something looks wrong.... like he came out of his egg but his eyes are sunken. Kinda like dehydrated. But I'm not sure he even has eyes. Hasn't opened them or anything. Is it a birth defect or is he sick...any ideas...
I mist her 2 or 3 times a day. Sometimes I put a few ice cubes on top of her screen. And I have to wait til morning to call a vet. Its almost midnight and my boyfriend has the car til he gets off work at 6am. I'm gonna call when they open.
My chameleon: June. Female veiled chameleon. About 3 or 4 years old. Not exactly sure. I've had her for about a year and a half.
Handling: Not very often. Maybe once or twice a week.
Feeding: Mainly crickets. Also mealworms, waxworms, praying mantisis. And some wild caught moths in the...
So I found out that I am pregnant. I know that many reptiles can carry salmonella and I was just wondering if I have anything to worry about. I love my chameleons but I would never want to harm my baby.
I left them in the egg container. One came to life. The other is stilll curled up. I see him breathe every once in a while and sometimes he moves one of his hands...but still laying there.
