It's been one year today since I buried & said goodbye to my beloved senegal chameleon, tatsu. She was the 1st chameleon that I had, had her for about 3 years or so, she was so sweet & happy, never got aggressive or scared, I'll never forget the time I first brought her home & stuck her in her...
anybody have a cool story about what got you interested in chameleons? Cause I'll never forget what sparked my interest, it was about 10 years ago, during my high school days, I was entering the local pet store to get some feeder mice for my 2 snakes, I get in line & in front of me there is this...
Well, even from day 1, he never was incredibly healthy, & everything was done by the book, but I had to take him to the vet a few times, & then one day he just quit eating & he just went down hill over the course of like 3 days, & I just found his lifeless body at the bottom of his cage one night.
Oh yes, they do, even if they are a little bit grumpy sometimes like guy was, he deserved a full life, that's for sure, but unfortunately I had him for only 10 months, sure wish i had him longer.
I love how my veiled will just hang out in this part of his cage just waiting to get hand fed, & gets ready to shoot his tongue whenever i put my hand in his cage, if i dont have anything he just comes & licks my fingers.
