Yes, he is an Ambilobe, purchased from Kammers. Thanks for the nice comments. After his last shed, however, he has procured numerous red and yellow spots alongside his belly.
I plan on getting him a girl in September up at the Anaheim show, as well as picking up a Carpet, Melleri, or Veiled...
Er, those photos weren't supposed to be part of this thread... I copy and pasted this thread (I posted it elsewhere), and I forgot to remove those images.
sorry.
Okay, go plop him onto the ground, and there you go! He/she will find the perfect spot! I highly recommend letting your Melleri Chameleon living with you, and that means making your house, their house!
Yay!
Yes, this is actually quite normal. However, I would suggest not handling them all, they are more of a look, not touch creature. I like to appreciate their beauty from a distance, and not with my hands.
I currently ordered one from Chameleon Kingdom, and I obviously do not want a pair from the same clutch. Anyway, my question is if anybody has a female available? I would happily purchase it in the next thirty days, around the same time the male will be available.
Thank you.
Why do you need two right now? Frankly, I would suggest you one female right now. It seems as though you are rushing into this. Also, how old is your male? How old are the females you are planning to breed?
I am most definitely going to be there, considering I live in La Jolla (30 minutes out of the way). I plan to buy a misting system, Ambilobe girl, and a Green Tree Python. I really hope to see some of you guys there.,,,,,
Do not listen to Petsmart people. Most, if not all of them, do not understand Chameleons. I would also not buy one from there because they are kept in horrible conditions and are often not the locale that they are said to be. Do not place two chameleons together in the same enclosure. I do not...
