feeding my Jackson
Jax seems to only eat crickets or superworms, and neither of them for very long before going on strike. So I alternate them. Tried wax worms and only looked at them. The superworms made him go crazy when I first got them. I place 2 of them in a deep plastic container and...

I had a veiled for a short period of time and it didn't make it. I went to the Jackson and have not had a problem at all. I think if we chose a cham based on our environment it makes it easier to manage if they are a type that fits. My Jax stays outside most of the time here in FL...
New Jax owner too
I have had my Jackson about 3 months now. I have noticed a few things that are becoming consistent with him. In the beginning he would eat about 8-10 medium crickets A DAY. Then it dropped off after a few weeks. I think he got sick of them! He didn't eat for several days until...
My Jax
Here is Jax, getting ready to give him larger digs...a 24x24x48" cage. I would love to see how some of you have set your cages up with vines and such!

I am very new to this and I made the mistake of buying a chameleon from Petsmart a few months ago. It was a veiled and didn't live but 3 weeks. I had bought several books on the subject and had immersed myself into this. Devastated at his early demise I sought more info. Looking back I see two...
force feeding etc
Your vet might be able to get a tube into him and both hydrate and feed him. There is a special mix for this. I lost my first Cham after only a month. So it is hard to watch them fade away as my veiled cham stopped drinking. You need a vet that specializes in Chams by the way...
