MY MALE VEILED CHAMELEON LEMMY is almost 7 years old and he was bought from local pet store pet Co so yes I do think I can I know what is what.
THE LIFE SPAN OF A MALE VEILED CHAMELEON IS 6 YEARS FYI. Good night :)
Oh and they're the opposite of human forget using sunscreen they need all the sun they can get. AND REMEMBER TO CHANG ULTRA VIOLET AND BASKING LIGHTS EVER 6 MONTHS!
I'M sorry to sound rude I love my chameleons and get heated when people don't take time to research:)
Maybe a little sarcastic but in in reality it actually Metabolic Bone Disease AKA REPTILE GOUT and it about properly supplementing and proper lighting and educating yourself about your wonderful pet chameleon.
I'm extremely surprised by that but it's cute picture! About 15 years ago my husband fed his male veiled chameleon a frog and Gomez died and was 6 years old and it was just a regular outside frog.I think it was because it was slimy .
And of course those pinkies everyone thinks gives your Chameleons GOUT LOL
UNLESS YOU'RE LETTING YOUR CHAMELEONS DRINK ALCOHOL AND A GOOD
DOSE URIC ACID GOUT IS KINDA FAR FETCHED! AND DID THEIR CHAMELEONS
SUDDENLY COMPLAIN ABOUT ACHY ANKLES!! LOL
Thank you very much he is very spoiled he likes wax worms hornworms, rasberries, blueberries, strawberries, apples and even seedless watermelon oh and he's even a few luna moths and praying mantis I did break those sharp legs off lol!
I do feed my male veiled chameleon pinky sometimes fuzzier frozen than thawed with hot water. I also inject calcium with Dr 3 with a syringe.
He's almost 7 yes old and I only feed occasionally that's "him" Lemmy in my icon.
Finally after 6 weeks of worries Princess Daenerys laid 32 eggs!!:D
First I tried a bucket of playsand 12 inches deep and NOPE.
Then playsand in a bowl in here cage and NOPE..
Then playsand just mounded on the bottom of her cage 12 inches deep NOPE.... She dug but just a hole and...
Thanks decs ;)
I think he's A PERFECT veiled in every way although very spoiled very very:D
He just turned 14 months this month ( I'm guessing roughly I rescused him from Petco on March 11 2012.):D
Oh camimom thanks ::D
I didn't want to breed her that young but my last veiled girl Lola died after her first clutch at almost a year old she laid like close to 70. So I figured Dany is quite healthy and she was quite receptive so I'd give it a try, now I'm slightly worried. Lola's eggs...
She's a veiled purchased from FLChams and she's been no problems of yet she eats drinks and poos with white urates.
I'm more worried right now about Princess Daenerys than her eggs or babies.
Her bin Is a pail filled with 12 inches of moist play sand but its not in her cage as it's too...
I've had gravid females before but not colors that drastic she was bred has a laying bin but no go on the digging yet. She's 8 months old and was bred 2 weeks ago she was definately willing. How long should she take to lay them?
This is the first time 1 of my females were bred before laying...
