I use real grass in my outdoor enclosure. I just grabbed a few rolls of leftover sod from my neighbors back yard. I just let it grow and have to don't cut it, and my chams love the little Nats and bugs that pop out of it.
I agree, Kevin and Aquazamp are great. I put off getting an auto mister since I'm home all day and don't mind hand misting, but from the first time I plugged the Aquazamp in I could see how much my chameleon prefered the fog/spray from the Aquazamp.
I know the Kammers are backing it which is a great endorsement. My question is, which I haven't found addressed, is whether it is safe to use on a chameleon that gets 4-8 hours of sun per day.
I had to wait three weeks for my Kammers baby to arrive after I placed the order as well. It felt like three years since I am so impatient, but it was definitely worth the wait. My little guy ate, drank, and was sociable from the minute I got him into his enclosure.
