Thanks for the replies.
I think it´ll turn out to be a male.
Yesterday i also thought to have seen the first signs of the head turning paler to become white in the end.
But well, we´ll see ;)
Hi Andreas,
great thing you´d also share yiur informations in the english Forums :)
I really like this attitude of yours. Keep up the good work!
Did you see that the female that i just had to sell turned out to be a male?
At least that´s what i think.
In addition to her growing horns i...
Here in Europe everybody feeds wc insects and i never heard about any problems as long as there has been no inctizides or something on them.
Don´t know how this is in America however.
I don´t think i can help you with those as i don´t really know this guy.
Don´t even know if this information is true or not but i hope so.
I guess we´ll hear about that soon enough if it´s true.
Do you really think that´s necessary?
In my opinion the diet the insects eat when they´re outside is the best they can get, otherwise there won´t be that many of them around.
If you try and gutload them yourself, by the time your chameleon gets them, their last meal from outside will already be...

As far as i know somebody here in Europe actually has 21 or so babies of the green giants btw.
Well that´s not exactly it. A feeder must not be larger than the mouth of the cham is wide. But that´s already way too big if you ask me, at least when talking about crickets. Locusts might be a little easier to swallow.
I´d say the smaller the better. So give the smallest ones he would take.
This way he has more fun, moves more and the risk for him to get hurt is minimized.
Many small ones is always better than a few bigger ones.
In fact most locals don´t seem to be "pure" to begin with. I just saw a video of a team that has done chameleon-tours on madagascar for 16years and they made this video to show, how the landscape between ambilobe and sirama looks like. I gotta say it´s like one big bush and both "locals" are in...
Hey Jann,
how old is your Padre?
I never heard a Parsons that friendly. Well they seem to be not agressive in most cases but many are rather the shy type as far as i know.
They are rather shy but they seem to be able to see wether i do something they like or something they don´t like. E.g. when on one day something happens that leopold doesn´t like at all, he would still drink from the sprayer the next day. If i accidentially spray him while drinking, he sometimes...
