He is fine his mouth is due to him rubbing against things when he was younger like branches and on the screen that all no mouth rot the inside of his mouth is not black or mucuse its clear but thx for the compliment I. Guess.

Thx for the concern chad I took him to the vet and they said everything was fine he eats like a horse and that might just be the color o yeah my tamatave is 1 year 8months.

how many months is your tamatave they dont hit full coloration till they hit 10 mnths or so... so u still have time :)

yeah i have a basking red heat bulb and the repti glow 5.0 alright ill change it to a 60 watt bulb will it produce enough heat? the reason why i didnt go all the way to the top with branches i just dont want him to get burned with the lighting he has alot of cover though
