Tom has great Chams!
Thanks for everything, Blueberry has been a great pet and companion. I had no idea how friendly a Panther could be until I got him. Every morning when I come in he reaches out at me and waits for me to put my hand out and then he climbs on up and rides around. Here is a...
I thought I would share this, because I think it is pretty cute and funny... This is my Nosy Be, Blueberry, that I got from Kilgour's Chameleons. He absolutely loves to come out and hang around with me. This is what he does when I leave his door open, and he waits until I put my hand out and...
Hello,
I have a 15 month old male veiled chameleon for sale, for local pick up only. I live in Hampton, Virginia. He is very healthy, and a voracious eater, pretty well mannered for a veiled and does not mind being picked up most of the time. I wish that I did not have to part with...
Sydney Australia? I believe that it is illegal to have any exotic reptiles as pets in Australia, from my readings there are chameleons at the Taronga Zoo and the Sydney Zoo.
I think that they work very well, and they do leave plenty of droplets on the screen and on plant leaves for your cham. I still mist with a sprayer once per day because 2 of my guys just love getting spritzed. My chams love them. As for a timer, they do not have one built in, I use an outlet...
I have 2 4x2x2 cages in one room, one with my Ambilobe and one with my Nosy Be. One day the curtain blocking their view of one another fell down and they were clawing at the cage walls and hissing at one another looking like they wanted to do some serious fighting. They were 12 feet apart in...
I would recommend a zoo med reptile fogger ($41 on Amazon) and point it at a Hoya (also called a wax leaf plant). The leaves are waxy and cupped and hold water for the cham, plus they are great for humidity and give the cham a place to bask in humidity if they want. Mine absolutely love them...
I use the Zoo Med reptile fogger, and my Chams LOVE them. $41 on Amazon. I tilt them towards a plant, and the water beads on the leaves and keeps the humidity up and when my chams want they go and bask in the mist. I can't say enough good things about the fogger. I have to refill the water...
Hi,
There may be a thread on this already, but I thought that I would ask... Is there a locale of Panther that is more open to being handled and more personable? I ask this because I have read a bit about how some people's chameleons come to them and love to be picked up and taken out of...
He is beautiful! I agree with the live plant idea above, mine love Hoya (or waxleaf) plants, the leaves are cupped and hold the water. Your set up looks great and I am sure that Max is a happy guy.
Thanks everyone
He is a blast. His tail is pretty enormous, it seems to be about the size of all of the rest of him, and he uses it a lot more than my other Chams. I assumed the muscle was more built up from 'wild' life. The stripe was one thing that threw me, it is kind of a neon blue and...
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to reach out and ask what you all think of my new guy here. His name is Fuji. He was identified only as a "Panther Chameleon" I think he is a Blue Bar Ambilobe, but honestly the bars are red some times and I am not sure. Also, I know Sambava's have a U shaped bar...
