    Ant Infestion

The ants are most likely going after the water. If your enclosure has legs, place them in containers of water to keep the ants from being able to enter.

    Jacksons Chameleon

Ive wondered about the spots too, so when I found a female in my yard with them on her back leg and tail I decided to keep her for a bit to observe. I am kinda starting to wonder if its just genetic. She is just starting a shed so Im curious to see if it effects it.

    low sperm count?

I have never bred panthers before so I dont know what the "norm" is. Animals can have fertility problems just like us, so it is possible that your male could have a lower than average sperm count.

There are several recommended on this site. I personally order from www.coastalsilkworms.com. I have been very pleased every time I order anything from them.

    silkworm deaths

Yeah I read your article. I use the plastic stuff from the hobby store so the poop goes through the holes. (great idea by the way) Im hatching out more eggs right now so Im going to try a few different ways with this batch. I had a few more deaths, but the ones alive seem to be doing well...

    silkworm deaths

Im keeping them in a plastic recycling container that has the lid that folds closed. When I close it I dont clasp the lid sections together I lay one on top of the other so there is still air coming in. I cleaned out all the dead ones and only took the ones that looked healthy into a new...

    silkworm deaths

I have a couple hundred silkwoms. When I went to feed them just now I opened the container to a horrible stink and liquified bodies everywhere. Does anyone have any idea what I did wrong? I hatched them a month ago and have only had a couple deaths and cannt figure out anything I did different...

    new to chams ?'s

I had my Jackson's in two seperate cages and the female could still see the male and she was super stressed. I put up a blind and now she is fine so I would guess that if you keep them together she will be a mess.

    Rufus's new setup

Thanks for the input, like I said when I leveled out the cage I covered all the little white balls with topsoil from my yard. Does anyone see any other problems with the cage. I posted the picture because someone allways sees something that someone else doesnt. I sure as heck didnt post it to...

    Rufus's new setup

The one vine does have the soil with the fertalizer in it. It had a really bad root structure so I didnt want to mess with them to much. I have built up the dirt from the yard over the top of the potting soil. My other cage has a dirt ground also and I have never had any problems. I figured they...

    Rufus's new setup

I finished Rufus's new cage today. I went with a smaller screen on the bottom this time so the crickets cannt just crawl right out. I cannt wait until the vines in the back grow up and fill in more of the space up top. I had to dig up my sunflowers and move them to the sides of the cage. They...
