    Yes. I turn out all of my lights but I turned them on one night, and noticed his eyelids are open, but you can't see his pupil. And he is definitely sleeping.

    Ok thanks everyone. I moved the light up a little more and the highest it gets in the basking area is how about 81 degrees.

    I currently have a 2 month old chameleon I bought recently off of Flchams.com I have a 75 watt basking bulb hanging about 13 inches off of the top of the cage and the basking area is at about 84 degrees. Is this a good temperature. In the cooler spot, it's about 71 degrees. I'm just making sure...
