I noticed this a couple days ago while I was watching my Chameleons eat and my Female Jackson has a swollen hand! I have no idea what happened. What could have caused this? It looks inflamed, swolen, infected. I really don't know. I don't see any cuts or abrasions so I'm really left...

I own two Jackson's Chameleons from Hawaii, received them about 2 months ago on July 7th. As the summer is coming to an end, I figured I'd start making adjustments to my chameleons' housing and lighting. I live in the Washington D.C. area and it gets pretty cold around here...
I really don't feel like buying the $5 36-packs from petco and have half of them already dead.
Does anyone know any good sites or people in this forum that sell crickets in bulk (100,200,500,1000, etc.) for reasonable prices?
I ran out of crickets today and now I plan to feed my Jacksons...
When the two are seperated, can you have the cages side by side or do they have to be some distance apart? I just bought another cage today for my male because they weren't getting along at all and they're still young!!
Thanks for the insight everyone. I'll be sure to get another cage to put the male in. He doesn't even eat while the female is around and I noticed that her color gets so much lighter when he's not in the cage.

I have thought about getting another cage but I didn't want to buy another knowing that I may have to buy a bigger one when they get bigger and want them to mate. I was told that males and females do okay with one another. But...
