Owner #2
I heard back from owner #2 today, this is what she said:
"She had 12 babies all dead but 3. then 2 died. one lived for about a week and a half i tried to feed it but it didnt eat then she (ANNIE) ate it by accident."
Trace: I see what you are saying about the vertebral column.
Eliza and Stacy: I am prepared and hoping for the best! I have bred and raised baby Veileds so I have some experience. My intention was to breed the Jacksons as well, but I wanted to wait several months to ensure the female is...
A big thanks!!!
Thank you everyone who has replied! I guess time will tell...
Trace: Im curious how you can you tell the difference between slugs and fertilized babies from an x-ray? I would not be surprised if they are not living babies. This chameleon received horrific care from owner...
Hi everyone,
Looking for some expert advice. Long story short I rescued/adopted this Jacksons Chameleon about 2 weeks ago. Very little is known about her history other then I am the 3rd owner. The person I got her from neglected her but never bred. Despite this she had babies while in...
Yeah...honestly I would be a little upset reading this thread if I did not know this lady in person. She is very caring, she loves her chameleons dearly. She just did not know what to look for I guess...
I have a little in house reptile boarding service that has been up and running for two years now. When a client leaves their animal with me I make them sign a paper that agrees to let me take their animal to a vet, at their expense if needed. This will be the first time I need to take a...
I did read the article! I actually read it before you linked it to me! :) Helped me understand what is going on with the poor chameleon.
You say it gets worse when you feed crickets? The owner told me she ONLY feeds crickets and asked me to not feed any kind of worms. When I questioned...
Thank you for your reply.
The owner did say he was "old" (he is 4years) and that he needs to be hand fed. She said the reason for this is that he had an eye infection 2.5 years ago, and his eyes have never been the same since. Other then that she thinks he is perfectly healthy. She takes...
Long story short, this is not my chameleon. I am looking after him while the owner is on vacation. I suspect edema, as the owner admitted to over supplementing. Also looks like an eye infection. Can anyone confirm this for me?
I read that stopping supplements, keeping him super hydrated...
I am trying very hard to get this done and over with. Monika, I did not post your name, your website, or report you on Fauna classifieds. It is in my rights to post a thread asking for expert advice on the sex of the chameleon...
If you are so kind as to refund the difference then I will...
one last look...
Hello again,
It has been almost 8 weeks since I purchased this Panther Chameleon. He/she should now be 5-6 months old. I would greatly appreciate your input one final time on whether it is male or female.
If it is female I will be directing the breeder to this thread and...
the next step...
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all again. Although I believe you when you say this is a female, I will wait another month or so to be completely sure. He/she is only 7 grams and I have a faint hope that I have a very late bloomer on my hands.
I will...
