i think you need to read about them a lot more. once you do that, keep reading!! and so on and so on! it is a lot of commitment, just judging by your question i do not think you should get a chameleon. just saying
i live down here in san antonio and this isnt the first year that we have had a cricket infestation. the scenes on the video are not even the worst of it, these crickets are everywhereeeeee. eventually they die off but in places that are semi hard to get to, and it starts to smell really bad...
dont feed your crickets those terrible orange cubes! they are garbageeee. use flukers gut load, it is a powder type food and the crickets loveee it. i also use the flukers "water" its green and jello like the crickets love it as well. but seriously, the orange cubes suckkkk
when i was trying to get my little guy to cup feed i had to put only like 2 of his normal ammount of crickets into the cup and a few days later he actually ate those and little by little i was able to add a few more in and now he eats from the cup
i think i am going to buy some silkworms online and get a gutlad from them as well. change it up a little. so if he likes these silk worms a lot will he go back to eating crickets?

i have him in a scrren enclosure. i dont remember the demensions but it is "medium" according to kammerflage. and okay im glad he is a sambava:) love the little guy. he is on a little food strike. he isnt eating crickets at...
you do not sound ready to own a chameleon. they are very expensive to maintain let alone buy. we would all be heartbroken to see anything bad happen to these wonderful animals
