well she layd her first clutch about 3-4 months ago of 28 eggs wich were unfertile. then when i added the male she turned those black.yellow and green colors for a few days but they just went back to normal, they got along just until recently

damn i did not know it was this serious, i will remove her asap. when will i know when she is receptive?

well ive been noticing this lately, i have a 1 1/2 year old male veiled and a year old female..just recently he will go towards her and bump into her very hard with his nose continuously..and then sometimes try to get on top of her, she has her mouth open and turns black with yellow and green...

changes :) i mist 2-3 times a day now, tooke the stuff off the bottom and cleaned it and removed teh unwhanted plants..shes looking much better!!heres pics..and btw everytime i mist now she comes up and opens her mouth and drinks lol

of course im going to make those changes asap! im just a lil mad that the reptile store i got her from didnt warn me about any of these things..there the ppl who sold me the set up..the plants and the stuff at the bottom of the cage .. oh well i will change the set up and repost later on tonight...

should i like put a light over them or something?

so like i stated in my previous threads im new to the chamelion world and did not expect this..i got her 2-3 months ago out of a pet shot which also had males in her cage . she layed her egs yesterday and i just dug them up..how can i tell if they r fertile or no? help? heres the pics

its for water.. its what the pet shop recogmended and im please to announce that i did the half and half peat moss and a bigger binn and she just layed her eggs!!

so i found out here that the reason my 10 month old veiled female keeps diging holes is due to her wanting to lay her eggs. So i was told to set up an area with wet play sand so she can dig her hole.. heres my set up: but the problem is that she keeps digging around the bottom till the pit...
