Keeping up with the Naja train I picked up this stellar pair from Tom Crutchfield. This is the largest pair I have ever seen! The female is possibly gravid now and Tom has said they have been breeding at his facility. I need a new lense as I can't get to close to them or I'd be in some trouble...
This story goes back through a lot of heart break for me. I purchased an adult pair of Rio Fuerte Beaded Lizards from Steve Angeli last year. I never caught them breeding but I did find that on 8/13/09 the female had layed 10 perfect eggs, the next day she layed 1 infertile one. I was so...

I've gotten pretty heavy into Tarantulas and now Scorpions. I've got a total of around 30 now with 2 gravid female tarantulas and 6 gravid scorpions. Here are three I have photo's of:
You don't see these around anymore especially true Indian's. These originally came from Tom Crutchfield, they are the nicest I've ever seen! I think they have been breeding, time will tell.
1.1 6 month old rock solid Ambanjas, unbeatable price!
These guys came from Chameleon Care Taker. I have some other animals I've raised up so I'm letting a few go. You won't find animals of this quality anywhere near this price!
Asking: $250 for the pair
*Calls get preference - they...
This girl is Big. I purchased her from Chameleon Keeper (Marty). I had plans to get into Sambava's but I sold my male and decided to stick with the locals I currently have. This is a great deal on a very nice ready to go Sambava Female. I would keep her but I don't have any males and I have no...
Well I'm looking to pick up a DSLR. Which do you have or recommend and why? My price range is $800-1200 (maybe more). The camera will be used for reptiles and family pics mainly. I'm currently looking at the Nikon D90. Thanks in advance!
I picked up this guy and 2 females from Marty here in Coral Springs, FL. Marty has some amazing animals, much of my stock came from him! I have still yet to see him fire up, but I can't wait!!!
Well I had both of these guys on breeder loan but I couldn't resist so I purchased them!!! Thanks Noelle!!! Lots of good stuff to come, making big moves!
I've had trouble with ants and my roach colony. I've spent a good amount of money and have a pretty big roach colony. Anyone know how to deal with this problem? I was looking at picking up a rack of some kind and putting the legs in small buckets of water.
Any other ideas?
How many different locals are there? I think a few have different names. I've come up with the list below, what am I missing?
- Ambilobe
- Tamatave
- Nosy Be
- Ambanja
- Sambava
- Nosy Mitsio
- Nosy Faly
- Ankaramy
- Oorana Mena (are these the same as Nosy Faly?)
I don't have any pictures of my girl but here is a male I have on breeding loan. Hopefully he'll get the job done, you just don't see many of these around. I love the contrast against the white! This guy is a BIG panther, massive head! The female is from a W.C. pair.

OK so here's a question. One of my smallest female panthers, my guess around 30grams has begun digging. Let just say she's mature (she was pink). What's the difference between her laying an infertile vs. fertile clutch? I know in the wild that females breed MUCH younger then we practice in...
Hello,
I have a pretty good sized collection and all my cages are different sizes and such. I'd like to build my own do to cost as the ones I want are custom and cost $80ea no matter how many I buy. I want all my cages to be the same size so I have uniformity. Anyone with cage plans and...
Hello,
Just figured I'd stop in and say hi and introduce myself. I have already met and even purchased my first panther chameleons from many on this forum. My names john light and I've been in the hobby for around 15 plus years. I live in south florida and have worked with more species...
I've been trying to switch my w.c. florida veileds over to roaches with mixed success. They surely prefer crickets but I can't stand them. Ontop of that I'd like to get them to eat out of a container rather then throwing the food item all over the cage. I put a bunch of roaches in a sterilite...
