So I was thinking the other day that I know how to tell more or less if my little man is looking good but I didn't really know how to evaluate his primary food source. (don't worry he's getting some variety it's just crickets are his fave) What do you look for in healthy crickets?
Here is a website that appears to have a large amount of information about lighting that I'm not sure has been posted before. I haven't read through everything but it seems pretty solid. http://www.uvguide.co.uk/phototherapyphosphor.htm
Ugh just found some of these little creepers in my cricket keeper. They are gross is it ok to feed them or what? Thought I had a good source for the crickets but now I'm doubting it. Mass genocide for all to protect my veiled or are they ok to feed? I might kill them anyway cause they're gross.
or maybe I'm just on here too much? >.> Before when I hadn't read a post it was bold and if I went over the text it showed the first part of the post. I am not noticing that now? Am I crazy? Wait a sec don't answer that one. :P
Just wondering who else lives with their chameleons in Oregon. I'm in the Beaverton region and I love the House of Reptiles in Tigard for getting crickets. Anyone else have favorite shops, breeders, etc... in Oregon. Any meet ups?
