    Post Vet Checkup!

So first time I brought Atlas to the vet, and... He's very very healthy, muscles are great, mouth and everything in all. Luckily my vet actually knew what she was talking about (she has a degree in zoology) though I knew the same amount because of this forum. Anyways all went well, luckily the...

    Vet Checkups

This thread is mostly full of questions about Vet Checkups, what to ask, what to get checked and etc. I have a personal vet that is very experienced with reptiles (luckily) which is very hard to come by in some places. I'm getting closer to Atlas' first checkup and just wanted to know what to...

    How to keep crickets?

Hey everyone! So I just wanted to know why my crickets are dying constantly and how to keep them alive and in bulk for longer. I bought 100 recently and probably ended up using only 50-60. The rest died. I keep them in a large plastic bin with food and hydration and a screen top so plenty of...

    Loss of Apetite?

Atlas finished shedding about 2 days ago, recently he hasn't shown as much as an interest in food, and he now climbs upside down on the roof of the cage under the Uvb, just wanted to know if this is normal. He ate more today which is a good sign.

    Meet Atlas

So after a week of having my first Chameleon, Atlas has me thinking he should have been named Luna because I'm a tad clueless. Very happy to say that he's an extremely healthy Cham so far, eats great and gets perfect hydration. Also I want to thank everyone who helped me the past week on...

    Underweight?

Just a question nothing serious. Seeing the ribs on Atlas a bit, I'm guessing he is underweight because he didn't eat much before I got him. Now he eats around 15-20 crickets a day with 3-5 super worms and kale frequently. Is this enough? Or should I feed him more?

Could this mean my chameleon is a male?

These two little bumps on both hind legs of my chameleon just came about? Does this mean it's a male?

    Lowering basking temperature

Hey everyone! I was trying to do some research online on how to lower the basking temperature significantly, Luna is approaching 6 months and I'm going to start putting her on a diet so her clutches aren't large or no clutches at all. If anyone has advice on how to lower it from my 87 degrees...

    Chameleon Diet

Hey everyone! I have Luna eating 1 hour after she has her lights on in the morning, she eats around 7 crickets then, and around 6:00 she will eat another 7. She has constant access to Kale because she loves greens. Is this a safe amount? I have not had the chance to grab meal worms because...

    First Chameleon Thoughts

After months of research and lots of help from the forums, finally got Luna the chameleon. Super healthy as she looks, trying to feed her more than the pet store because she is quite slim and she eats like a pig. Yes I know not a great idea on the mossy stick, she has tried to nip pieces of...
