Female veiled got tongue stuck on branch and hurt her tongue trying to retract it.

I was feeding my cham this morning and she went to shoot her roach and her tongue got stuck on a branch and she had trouble retracting it cause it stuck to the branch. I tried to feed her another roach and she couldn't shoot her tongue more than half way out. I haven't tried to feed her since...

    Training Chameleons?

I'm curious about training chameleons and how it is done. Like how to get your cham to be comfortable enough to walk out of it's cage onto my hand or to just come to my hand whenever I want it to. I know they are solitary creatures but I would like to believe they can be trained to not be the...

Lights on or off while egg laying?

I know my chameleon should have complete privacy when ready to lay but what about her lighting schedule? Should that stay the same? I usually run my lights for 12/12 starting at 7AM.

    Laying bin temperature control?

Should my laying bin for my chameleon be temperature controlled so that it will be warm for her in the dark? Right now the temp in her bin is about 65-70 degrees Fahrenheit.

She has been more restless than ever these past couple of days and has started digging small test holes in the sand in her new laying bin. The bin is an old...

My adult female veiled cage. Am I doing anything wrong?

Since this is my first chameleon I am trying to know everything about a properly set up enclosure for her. I have fake and real plants in it and the background is made of cork bark pieces and real sticks. She has several vines and foliage throughout the cage but I don't know if I should give her...

    Pascal and her gravid colors!

Pascal has gotten quite colorful in a few days since I posted last. I love the way she looks! However, she has been quite restless and hasn't shown any interest in the soil bin I have in her cage. I put some cardboard on the walls of her cage to try and make it a bit more private for her.

    Is My Female Veiled Pregnant/Gravid?

This is Pascal! she's my female veiled chameleon. I don't know exactly how old she is, I'm guessing shes anywhere from 9-12 months (I got her from Petco as a baby and they didn't know the age). She recently started getting very colorful with yellows and blues, but has not lost her mainly green...
