Hi,we have just got a veiled Chameleon and are not sure if its eating any of the crickets or locusts i put in,but if i put worms in it eats them straight away, should i not put worms in until i see it eating the crickets and locusts?

Hi, we have just got a veiled Chameleon that is just under a year old and i am not sure if its eating properly. I haven't seen it eat any crickets or locusts i put in,but as soon as i put mealworms in,it eats them straight away, should i not give it any worms till i know its eating the crickets...
