I have tried both a large ficus and an elephant tree and they have both died due to the direct light and heat all day? I'm trying to find something that would be big enough to be he main plant for him, but that won't die so fast? Any suggestions for a plant that's safe for him and can handle it?
I feel like my chameleon is too skinny, but he is only 8 weeks old and can only really eat crickets and I also buy him little fruit flies which he seems to like as well, superworms were way too big for him, but I feel like he needs more fatty foods or something? any suggestions
I got my chameleon about a week ago, he is still not used to everything and gets scared really easily. I leave a cup of flies and pinhead crickets out for him all day because he only eats when he wants to and I want to make sure he has something when hes hungry. is that okay?
Just got a new chameleon, he is about 2 months old and he is tiny.
have him in a 16X16X30 mesh cage, he has a big ficus plant vines, sticks, and a pothos plants.
The general temperature of his cage is 74 degrees and his basking area is 82 degrees.
He really likes to stay in the basking...
