    hatchling veiled eye issue

    i have 1 female hatchling about 4 days old that has failed to open her eyes. i am unsure what i can do besides mist and hope. i did brush her eyes with a saturated cotton swab but to no avail. is this a congenital defect or does it appear to be something treatable? i would appreciate any help.
