I see most of you use rocks to cover the dirt in your potted plants would it be ok to moss to cover the dirt instead. Just curious if it would be ok since I think it would look nice

Hi everyone I'm new here and to chameleons. I haven't got one yet but I am planning on it in a couple week. My question is does the pump and water reservoir need to be close to the cage or can I have that stuff in my basement and run the water line threw the floor and to the misting nozzles...
