I have a one year old male Panther chameleon and he has been spending a lot of time on the ground of his enclosure. It is 48 inches tall and 24 by 24 on the bottom. I am knew to keeping these guys and want to make sure this isn't anything serious. There are plenty of branches for him to climb on.

I am looking to make a 2' by 2' by 4' PVC cage for my panther. I have tried to do some research but haven't found much. So was hoping to get some guidance and suggestions. Anything I shouldn't use? Was looking at using fiberglass mesh for the cover.
