My female veiled has been acting strange lately. She doesn't seem to be eating much (I don't tend to feed her too much in the first place, usually 5-6 crickets or 3-4 superworms). Shes about 9 months old now and I've noticed her puffing up for no reason at all in her cage until she sees me...
So I've been reading a few things about the life expectancy of a male vs female veiled chameleon. I've read things ranging from 2 to 6 years or so. So I'm curious and have two questions! How old was your oldest veiled OR if this is your first female veiled how old is she now?
A couple questions regarding panther chameleons. I am hoping to get a pair of them eventually but I got to thinking... what is the reason for them to be so expensive compared to veileds? I realize veils are more common and such but is this the only reason? I'm not sure what they are in the US...
