We have 5 chameleons, 5 mice (who i hope die soon, i hate the bloody things), 5 birds, a yorkie, a saltwater fish tank, and a Bearded Dragon whom we just bought from a superb breeder and is on the way here as i type.
we plan on getting maybe a sambava male, and a female...
so, last night my fiance goes "i think a cricket escaped and laid eggs bc i have found a couple little pin heads today" ... that statement was half right. this afternoon while cleaning the cricket container i noticed it was FILLED with pinheads.... now what? they are sooo tiny
i am going insane! over a week and a half ago my camera died. well, its a really nice camera except for the fact that it takes a rechargeable battery pack... problem? cant find the charger for it and i cant find one at walmart :( sadnees. i cant take pics of my chams and its driving me bonkers!
so. we are kind of excited bc we talked to our housing office and hopfully next spring we will be transferring from our apt just down the road to a new apt building. the reason is because the other buildings come with outside decks. so we were thinking about keeping the chameleons outside (in...
some (well quiet a bit) of our mealworms have hit the pupae stage, which im told is the mating/egg laying stage. but they dont move... how are they breeding if they just lay there and wiggle and cant move or see? how do we know if they bred, laid eggs, and what do the eggs look like?
ok so inigo my baby male veiled. he is about 4 to 5 months old. he is a bit younger then the girls.
he seemed a bit small and i was concerned so i decided every other day im gonna give him mill worms then silk worms then mill worms then silk worms...so monday he got his crickets and mill...

it would be cool to know some people in there area as well. incase of any...
Ok. so i know this is going to sound preposterous and alot of you will think im crazy and will have plenty of reasons to disagree with me and probably have alot of info to shoot holes into my theory.
But.
I think we should have a DNA Database for chameleons.
Even ones who are sick. this...
im looking to get a female Abmanja from a bloodline that has a lot of blue leaning away from the red. i would like to get her in late sepetember or early october. and i would like her to be atleast 10months old. maybe closer to a year.
private message me is you know anyone or are someone...
My veiled girl is about 5 to 6 months. she shed not even 2 full weeks ago and is today starting to shed again. is that normal. 2 times in 2 weeks is more then i have seen on any of my other chams. is this normal?
question for the Moderators, or whoever can answer it. when you click on the species link and you look through the list. why are there so many "Photo Needed" thumbnails? you would think that if the species of chameleon existed and that people have owned them (which i know alot have) that there...
