I have a brand new, still in the package. Zoo-Med ReptiTemp 500R that I am looking to part with. I am looking to get what I paid for it. $50.00 (plus shipping).
If interested, feel free to contact me at:

I can figure up shipping cost when contacted. Also, I plan on...
I would like to get everyone's thoughts on the Apogee Reptariums. I am interested in them, but I cant find anything really helpful in making my decision.
What I would like to know:
1. General thoughts on the enclosures.
2. How difficult they are to clean.
3. Can crickets chew through the...
I completed my outdoor tube cage based on a design I came across on here over the weekend. It is really sturdy, has drainage, allows a lot of climbing area, and is near escape proof. The only thing keeping it from being escape proof is that I have not gotten a permanent solution to keeping it...
I was wondering if there are any other species of cham that come out translucent. I have seen Veileds before, but have never seen any others. Is this just a characteristic of some Veileds?
Are there translucent Panthers? Jacksons? Pygmy? Etc.?
If so, and if anyone has one, please post...
I am in the middle of a build where I am taking a discarded fish tank (calm down everyone, I have thought this through veeeerrrry thoroughly) and modifying it to be an arboreal terrarium similar to the commercially available zoo med glass terrariums. I will go more into what it take to make one...
So, apparently my Jackson's, Weirdo, likes to try to climb in places he really shouldn't attempt to reach in his cage and ends up slipping and falling to the bottom. I am planning to get more branches than I already have added soon, but in the meantime is there something I can put on the bottom...
Hey, it has been a long time since I have posted, but I am still around and keeping busy with my cham(s).
As of yesterday, I purchased my 2nd cham from a local reptile show, a really nice looking male Jackson's.
Any tips and tricks of the trade that I should know? Feel free to share...
Today my chameleon had its first shed while in my care! I came home and it looked like my Senegals skin just exploded off of it while I was at work today. It didn't all come off, there are still bits on its body, but the top of it's head is still mid shed.
I am wondering if I need to help it...
So I was doing a bit of cleaning last night and noticed the rocks around the hibiscus plant were moved a bit. Out of fear of my cham ingesting some soil, I went to move the rocks back into place, and found these 3 tiny little things where the soil had been exposed.
My first thought was that I...
What are these things? Any idea where they came from? How should I go about getting rid of them?
I noticed them tonight and squished about 10-15 of them throughout the night.
I picked 3 off my cham and noticed them all over the cage. I have no idea what they are and am a bit concerned...
Hey everyone, I have found a few members from the KC, MO area, and I was just wondering, if there are more.
Anyone in the KC, South KC, barely into Kansas area?
Also, if anyone is planning on going to the KC Reptile Expo, let me know. I would love to get tips in person.

So, I am a really new cham owner, (1 week and 2 days), and have been worried almost the entire time that I have been doing everything wrong. I tried to get as prepared as I could before I made my purchase. I went through several trials and tribulations after my Senegal cham arrived. Everything...
Full disclosure:
I just got my first cham 2 days ago, so I am still very new to cham ownership, so bear with me and please be encouraging rather than brutal.
Ok so here is the situation at hand. I got my cham on Friday, let it get used to it's home all day and night, put a couple of...
Hey everyone, I made my chameleon purchase that I have been planning for.
I got a Senegal chameleon from Big Apple Pet Supply. It showed up today healthy and green!
Let me know what you think!
Hey everyone, I had an idea (I hope it is original) to use the "How To Ask For Help" form to help get me prepared more for the upcoming purchase of my cham. I will fill in the Chameleon info portion more when I actually get it.
So far we have some frogs that will be feeding off of the same...
I am doing a buttload of research and keep coming across the letters CBB. I know that CB is captive bred, and WC is wild caught, but what does CBB mean?
Like I said in my intro, I do not yet own a cham, but I am getting prepared to make the purchase. Today I should have everything I need...
Hey everyone, I am new to chameleons and I figured the best way to get started was joining this forum and get some tips and tricks.
Before anyone asks, I have not gotten a chameleon yet, however, I have been lurking on various forums and doing as much research as I possibly can before...
