So, my son has taken responsibility for feeding my cham over the past few months. apparantly he waits for the cham to load his toung and then sticks a bug to it. When I saw this was what was happening I told him to make the cham shoot his toung. He now refuses to do so. He gets frusterated and...
My panther Cham is a male. He is about a year old. I found him just a minute ago. It looked like he was trying to sigh but he won't close his mouth. What is he doing? What does he need me to do?
So my blue bar is a year old. We have been feeding him once a day. Sometimes he eats 6 or 8 bugs... And sometimes he eats much much more. A couple of days ago he ate 24 bugs in one sitting! I could not believe it. So I told my son that we should try feeding him twice a day. For the past two days...
So, we bought a bunch of mil worms and they turned into smaller worms that look kind of like big Phoenix worms. Those worms turned into brown beetles. I know that I can feed mil worms to my panther. I need to know if I can feed the smaller worms that the mil worms turned into to my Cham and if I...
Alright... I have never been around this type of chameleon and it seems pretty obvious that the chams colors are digitally manipulated but..... I had to ask.... Is this possible?

I know, it's not..... It is a cool video though.
My cham just went through a complete shed... it happened really fast too. His tail still needs to shed though.... any way, People always go on and on about their chams new colors after his shed. I gotta say I am rather dissapointed, It looks as though his colors are actually duller than they...

I have a male blue bar that is about 9 months old.

It has been a household...
I have a moisture problem.
I only mist about 3 times a day... Moisture NEVER completely drys in the bottom of the cage. I can not keep up with drying it out with a towel all the time. The cham rarely ever goes to the bottom of the cage. I bought a small 6" desktop fan to clip to the outside of...
I am trying to get some dubia roaches to breed... but I am worried about if a couple of them escape and then I have giant south american roaches infesting my house!! It freaks me out. So, today the vet told me that you can buy sterile feeder roaches... so, if these ones escape, they CAN NOT...
So, as some of you know I have been having some troubles getting my cham to eat. I have had him for a few days now and he has not been eating much. I have been really worried about his health and have recieved a lot of support both from people on the site and from Panther16. Dispite my attempts...
SO I have heard mixed things about leaving crickets in the cham cage all of the time. I have heard that you can not do this because the crickets will all bite the chameleon and then I have heard that only the BLACK crickets will bite the chameleon and that the brown ones like the ones they sell...
So, either tomorrow or the next day I will be getting some Hornworms, Silkworms, and superworms.... I bought way more than my cham can eat any time soon....What is the easiest way to keep these guys alive? I'm going to see what ones I can get him to eat the easiest and then I'll work on breeding...
