I've been breeding these for a couple months now and unfortunately a couple of my chams won't hand feed so its hard to get them to eat them. They are interested in them but they are too quick and run and hide. How are you guys with P nivea feeding to your animals? Interested in hearing some options

Im getting my baby from kammers tomorrow and they said to feed 1/4inch crickets but I only had time to go to petco and all they had was 1/2inch crickets. Will they be too big for him? Do you measure the cricket lengthwise or by girth?
I just bought a few things to make gutload for my crickets for my cham thats arriving tomorrow and the butternut squash were all hard. Are they supposed to be hard or are they just not ripe?

Every morning I see dubia adults on their backs and help them up if they are not dead. I don't have many adult males and don't want them dying because they are stupid and can't pick themselves up. Anyone notice this happening and is there anything I can do so they are able to turn back over?
I just got water crystals and dropped a couple on the ground and I made sure my dog didnt get them but I started to wonder if it would be harmful to my dog if she accidently ingested a few? I googled it but came up with nothing
