When I feed my Cham Locust, i do not feed him the kicker legs. I remove the legs above the knee to eliminate the bony kicker. IMO - The legs are bony. They have a small barb and could cause impaction. Maybe more experienced peohple can chime in on this subject.

Hornworms grow extremely quick. It's the only thing I buy from the chain pet store. If you only have 1 cham, I would buy the 4 pack from the pet store. After 2 weeks the hornworms might be too big for your Cham or they will have eaten all of their food and die from starvation. If you order...

I want to stress the need for every Cham to see a Vet, for a annual check up and fecal exam once a year. Most well care checkups are under 100.00. If you cant afford a checkup, find a vet that will do a fecal exam. This will save you heartache.

Grasshoppers: order online, they are easy to keep alive, don't need water, because of their size- you may only need to feed 1 or 2 per week. You can keep them alive for months.
