Yeah conditions are hard to maintain in such a wide cage. I worry about bacteria forming on the wood and her cutting herself on the metal screening (it can be pokey when you poke holes through it to connect stuff). I monitor her closely (her new enclosure will be here thurs)

I agree, another worry is that she won’t lay in her cage she has now. Her husbandry is right and she has just been super restless all around her cage, so inward thinking maybe this change would help her. It’d be easier to add foliage too

The one I built has metal screening and I don’t want her to cut herself on a loose piece, also with it being so wide it’s a lot harder to to maintain temperature gradient and humidity. I have a female veiled chameleon who is currently gravid and I have her in a 4ft by 3ft custom built cage, but i decided to just order a real cage that is reptibreeze 2 x 2 x 4. My question is, is it okay to switch her to a new enclosure while gravid or should I wait for her to lay first?

my filter wont connect to my bulkhead on the inside of the reservoir. It just doesn't fit properly i cant get it to piece together.

Okay so as I am retrying this, the arrow needs to be flowing the opposite direction of the tube inserted into the bulkhead? like pointing towards the thing that vibrates and the other tube?

Well i set it all up exactly like you guys said, and i plugged it in and the thing started vibrating but it didn't do anything. No misting. I don't know what the fuck is going on now but it's giving me a raging head ache. I'm ready to just send it back and get my money back at this point...

The nut is on the outside, the little rubber o thing you mean needs to go on the inside of the reservoir thing? I think i made my hole too big for the resorvoir water leaks out of the bin im using smh. any ways to fix this so it doesn't leak?
