give it a try if that don't work try some Phoenix worms or even some baby super worms if you can. super worms always stops the hunger strikes for me but they have also started a few as well.

Best thing to do is make a cheap screen enclosure because if you let your guy or girl out in the sun in clear view their are a lot of birds and other predators that would love that colorful snack. That way you may leave and not have to come back to a long gone pet.
