"had raised uric acid (UA)."
Feeding - I was feeding him crickets and superworms but have recently switched to discoid roaches. I feed him about 10-20 every two-three days. I was using a calcium block and had cricket quencher in there, and occasionally repashy bug burger. I will now be...
That recovery is garbage. Just look at the first 3 ingredients, soy, sunflower oil, and sugar. The rest of it is a general multi vitamin.
In terms of "kidneys" that is normally due to protein ratios and types. Feeders fed too high of a protein diet (crickets raised on fish flakes/soy hulls...
Um its going to be pulling the cool moist air from the bottom of the glass cage and exhausting it out into the room.
That means all the hot dry air from the top of the cage is going to be sucked down.
While i like the idea, id flip the fan around and have it push air into the bottom of the...
Honestly its not that bad of a setup.
You have ground cover, but u have a veiled. They like to nom nom on plant like things.
U also have a girl. So you get to decide if you want to have a nesting box/pot in the cage all year around.
But over all the setup looks good and so does the grill...
I go by tail meat.
No line meat tube, too fat
single line down the side, udder perfection
2 lines down the side, getting skinny, ok for now as long as the cham doesnt fall ill
can see vertebrae, way too skinny and weak, wont survive an illness.
Sorry for your loss. If it was a 2+ year old i would blame the boarder. However if you bend the rules and make him a "sub adult", they can die suddenly of congenial defects(organs) during their last growth phase when they are putting on the most weight per month.
In the second pic is does...
You would be surprised of the most uncomfortable positions they choose. The very edge of the plant that has no hope of supporting the cham. Sleeping on their curled up tail with their butt in the air. Sleeping on the misting head for the worse good morning shower ever.
But once they are...
Looks like a southern or warm climate earth worm. they are more clear and widdle. The cool weather and "night crawler" worms are bigger with thicker skin.
If you dont go with the mat, the other idea is find a way to attach an edge to the back and sides of the table with a high SAF (spousal approval factor). You might be able to get away with hot glue and a 1" strip of polycarbonate or plexiglass along even just the back of of the table. The...
Yes it will work.
18''H x 48''W x 24''D
Keep in mind there will be zero wiggle room, so you will want some kind of anti slip mat on the bottom, else a cage may slide off a hair and be resting on the screen.
Odd, my dubia will eat all intruders. Forget to feed, ok we will just eat your cleaning crew. Oh throw in some left over hissers, yea if they molt they are dubia food.
Most just bond two 2x2x4 ones together if you just want a 4 ft wide 4ft tall one. Its pretty easy, just get 2 cages and 2 aluminum yard or meter sticks. Or if you can find 3/4 or 1" wide aluminum stock it would be even cheaper. Then just get some wee rust resistant nuts and bolts, drill some...
call from ohio vet "hey someone bought a plant from homedepot and it came with a free green lizard so they dropped it off here, you want it?" and thats how i got my last green anole.
