Both the male and females are attractive examples of hoehnelli I've raised them both from birth Male is mostly blue in coloration with bloodred eyes and throat and the female is a red headed. She looks green most of the time but can color up. Its in the 60's so they are dark in the pictures

Hoehnellis in my opinion are a hardy species when you have a healthy animal. I'm in northern Illinois and keep them outdoors most of the year only coming indoors in extreme weather
