    Ordering supplies for new cham

My tap water is not good at all. I can't even drink it, I currently buy bottled water and want to stop doing this as the bottles are so bad for the earth so it will be used on a regular that's why I would really like to have the 11 stage. Do you happen to know if the added mineralization and...

Country wide shortage of distilled water???

...for distilled water at $2.50 a gallon (usually $1.15). They're still ringing up as $1.15, but I am switching to tap and will deal wtih the water stains in spring. Once spring rolls around, my local grocery store has a RO water machine where you can fill up those 5 gallon water jugs for...

5 month old panther cham screen climbing, can anyone give input?

Most of us use RO water or some kind of filtered water purchased at the store. It helps your mist system last longer. This is what I do: - Phosphorous free calcium dusted on every feeding - I use Repashy LoD on the 1st and 15th which is a multi vitamin and D3 supplement together. I know...

    Ordering supplies for new cham

I’m not sure how all units are set up, but in mine there are two outlet tubes - the good RO water and the waste water.

    Mistking Troubleshooting

Mist head nozzle same thing. Have u been using tap water and not distilled or ro water. Depending on how bad your water is it can clog mist heads faster then u think.

    Having trouble using his tongue

I will definitely be looking into that cage! Wanted to start off w/ the one I have now cause I thought he would come in smaller, but I definitely will be upgrading. For the basking, I was told to get the Fluckers dimmer, would that help w/ bringing it down? Rubber fig will be taken out! Don’t...

    Having trouble using his tongue

...at 8:30PM w/ the Reptifogger going on until 7:30am. (All water being treated w/ ZooMed Reptisafe water conditioner. Just a tip, if you RO water or distilled water you do not need to use the Reptisafe water conditioner. Your light and misting schedule looks fantastic too btw :). The fog...

    Set up Mistking v5?

Mine? Hardly ever. But I use 10+ gallons of RO water a day. I don't use the filter that comes with the MK. I have a couple of 35 gallon barrels plumbed together. The water passes through a stainless screen before it goes through a 5 micron sedimant filter, the type used for ro/di systems...

Question regarding distilled/RO water and misting system. (Distilled not bad for arboreal reptiles?)

Yeah, and sorry I hadn't noticed the dates. Just thought I'd try to give some advice where I saw it was needed lol. And that's good to know about the rainwater.

    Miat king nozzle replacement

I'm not using distilled or RO... just tap water and I'm sure that's why they clog. I am thinking that mist king uses a dab of glue to make these not user serviceable because those nozels are available from elsewhere and they are just 1/8in npt threads into a push to connect fitting.

Question regarding distilled/RO water and misting system. (Distilled not bad for arboreal reptiles?)

...but it’s pretty pure. Enough so that carnivorous plants aren’t harmed by it(they’re notoriously finicky with nutrients in the soil/water). RO water I believe is a little more like rain water, RO/DI is ultra pure like distilled. I agree though… with feeders, supplements, and gutless there...

    Mist nozzles go bad?

...its not a water hose. It is an EXTEREMELY small outlet pressurized by an EXTEREMELY high pressure / low volume membrane water pump. And RO does not remove minerals other than calcium/lime/rust. Infact if you buy RO water, most of the time its just distilled/DI with ADDED minerals for flavor.

    Cleaning King Mister system tubes

There for ro system. So somewhere they sell water filters. I buy it at ace hardware. It's like 10 cent a foot instead of 35 cents. Stuff adds up so if can get cheaper for same always better.
